Austrian dog beaches at the lake
When the summer sun shines from the sky and the temperatures seem to rise to infinity, you usually long for a refreshing dip in the cool water. In Austria there are wonderful dog beaches and bathing lakes where you can have fun together with your four-legged friend.
Bathing fun in every federal state
The city of Vienna also provides you with some dog bathing facilities. You can also enjoy the cool water with your four-legged friend in the big city. On the New Danube and the Danube Island you will find two dog beaches, the Dog Beach North and the Dog Beach South. On the Alte Donau there is a large dog zone next to the Angelika, which even has a drinking fountain and training equipment. Further dog zones can be found at the pond Hirstetten-Donaustadt, in the Draschepark and in Aspera-Seestadt. All dog beaches are accessible by public transport.
Upper Austria offers a wide range of dog beaches. You can swim with your dog at almost every lake in the Salzkammergut. Mostly there are own marked areas.
