Origin of the Bulloxer
The Bulloxer is a so-called hybrid breed, i.e. a deliberate cross between two recognized dog breeds: the Boxer and the American Bulldog. The aim of this cross was to combine the positive characteristics of both original breeds - such as the strength and alertness of the Bulldog with the agility and friendly nature of the Boxer. Breeding this hybrid has become particularly popular in the USA, where it is partly seen as a response to over-bred lines or breed-specific health problems.

Responsible selection of the parents is therefore essential. The Bulloxer is easy to care for when it comes to its coat: regular brushing is sufficient to remove dead hair.
